Used it on sps and Lps. Works very well on bacterial infection when dipped every day for week. On new additions this is a must, within seconds saw flatworms coming off! It’s on the pricy side but when protecting your animals it’s worth it!

I love polyp lab, over the years I have tried most of their products and everything is always great, I regularly dose 4 supplements and use many of their maintenance problems and feel that they are all top of the line products. Polyp lab protects my tanks environment and keeps my corals happy and full of color. @WildReefKeeper

Reef Primer is the best coral dip on the market, in my opinion, and I have used MANY dips as a former LFS owner and coral farmer. It is very effective, but just as important, it’s gentle on your coral. Reef Primer has helped me save several very sensitive species from brown jelly, it’s the only dip proven to kill ciliates. It has helped in the recovery of acropora that were in QT and infested with various cooties, and I have also had great luck treating bacterial infections with weekly dips of the problem coral. I wouldn’t even think of fragging LPS without Reef Primer as a post-cut bath, it’s the only thing that gives me the courage to cut my goniopora or wilsoni. I panic order it every time one of the “celebrity reefers” gives it a good review because nobody near me carries it and I’m afraid to run out.

Ran a huge batch of acros through a gallon on reef primer. I didn’t lose a single acro and I was amazed at how much came off the frags almost as soon as I put them in.

It does what it is supposed to do: kills the bad things but doesn't kill the coral. What more can you ask for?

The first time using any dip where my pods instantly died and all other critters while my coral looked happy.
Even stopped brown jelly on some wall hammers due to poor shipment from my wholesaler and/or FedEx.
Would like to stock this product in my shop for other locals.

I have been pleased by Polyp Lab on such a level that I do not think there are appropriate words to describe it. I use MANY, MANY, of your products, have gotten at least fifteen local reefers using them, and even a few back in Atlanta where I once lived (probably more, but those I can immediately come to my mind). I have also been trying like hell to get the owners of several of the LFS here in San Jose to carry more of your products; the fact that I have gotten most of the staff using them helps for sure. :o) When I find something of such quality, and especially when it comes from a company who has provided me with such exceptional customer service, it truly excites me (for lack of a better word) and I immediately want to spread the word. Companies like yours are are more needed, and yours is one we hope will always be around. Customer service is something that is appreciated more than I think businesses realize, and unfortunately it is going the way of the dodo bird - becoming extinct.
My only "complaint" is that I feel as if your pricing is quite high. I have found that within the reefing community here there is a VERY large number of younger reefers that want the product, but cannot afford it on top of their other daily expenses (primarily Reef Primer, additives, and glue). I have given away more of your products than I can count within my reef club and to other local hobbyists I have become friends with, and I have won over quite a few of them who are now permanent Polyp Lab customers, but there were also many who loved the product, but just could not afford to use it (i.e. the AMAZING glue; its like no other). I thought this may be something for you to consider.
If nothing else, I really do hope that Polyp Lab always maintains the same quality products, and most of all, I hope that your customer service always remains as it is now, the gold standard. I apologize for the diatribe, but then again when I have a good thing to talk about that has made a world of difference personally, I sometimes can’t stop talking about it! Lol
Thank you. Keep up the good work!

Love the product! One of my scoly was super stressed for a while and looked a bit deflated but once I dipped it in the reef primer it instantly puffed up! Definitely my new go to dip!

First use on my Frag swap haul saved me from flatworm! Reef Primer can be utilized in small quantities by doing the math. I am extremely happy with this product!

Researched best dip. By far and away was Polyplab reef primer. Came up every time. Didn’t let me down. My frags are doing great!

My corals are doing great. I believe polyplab reef prime really helps the corals during acclimation process. I will always use reef prime for any new corals I receive.

This product is marvelous. No more Mansanto products needed to kill reef pests.

Make sure you dip before putting your new coral in your tank! And if you notice anything "odd" with your corals in your tank, take it out for a dip to get rid of pests and give your coral some "first aid" help it heal! This product does all that!!! Never add a new coral without it!
