Great product And work excellent
Weerasarut L.
not sure if I use it right, but i think i have serious problem with my tank so I put 3 levels scoop per 200L as direction, however it impact to my fishes. Some fishes, the skin turned white and peel-off, end up died. so now, I changed the water in my tank and put 1 scoop and it seems better. Sad that my fished died, but I will look forward for the coming result (3 more days to meet 10 days).
Dwayne A.
Great product works very well
Gabriella O.
Great product can’t wait to see how it works. Love the packaging. Just don’t be an idiot like me and drop the bottle immediately after opening the box and break it. Whoops! I was able to save all the medicine. Clear instructions and tank is looking great so far.
Michael S.
Product seems to be working.. not sure as I am still dosing.
Tony C.
After 4 or 5 days the ick is gone from my quarantined six-line wrasse. I’ll keep to the 10 days minimum dosage to make sure. Looks great! Thanks
GIOVANI C.
Just in few days was clear without ick
Austin S.
Completely cured ich in my 75gal saltwater tank! Shows signs of significant improvement within just a couple days! My corals are still healthy and didnt bother them a bit. Definitely will be buying from here for all of my tank needs! Thanks guys!
Mark P.
Product seems to be working killing parasites in tank won't know for a few more weeks . Also did not hurt invertebrates, good product, thank you.
Kenny L.
I lost 80% of my 220 gallon tank a year ago due to a fish that was supposed to have been quarantined before purchase. Ick took out many of my fish. As told by many, you must remove All fish and let the tank sit empty for 45-60 days for the Ick to die off. Due to our structure, 2 fish were impossible to remove. They show no signs but we knew they still could be carriers. After treating the remaining fish, they were introduced after 60 days. All seem well until the Ick reappeared. I found Reef Medic and figured I had nothing to lose. The first treatment seemed to knock it down but a month later it came back. I tried again with a stronger dose, about the same results. The third time I hit it pretty hard and BOOM. The fish look great, colors came back and no sign of the Ick. All corals are doing great so there was no effect on them. I am really happy to have a healthy tank again.
Jean-francois F.
Best product for reefing!!!
Best first aid for fish!!!
Frank N.
Great product. It helped me stop the ich infection in my tank. Though I lost a fish, it was already late for treatment to work on it, the rest is doing great.
James G.
I had an ich outbreak that took my koran angel and porcupine puffer, that was the only fish i had our 125. Pretty sure i got it from some water out of a bag of crabs that got into the tank. I left my tank empty for 76 days. I just put a SailFin and a Sweetlips into the tank. Knowing that tangs are the worse for getting ich, I got a bottle of Poly Meds that was on the shelf. The store owner had told me he used it with great luck in one of his frag tanks with his tangs and no damage to fish or his thousands of dollars worth of corals. 2nd day i had the fish i saw a couple of spots.. Called and he said they was clean when he got them but to be safe he had been treating his tanks. Started dosing that morning, today is the 2nd day of dosing and already all spots are gone. Going to treat the whole 20 days to be safe. Also have ordered me a UV light since it seems most comments on here the people that have had the best luck with it have them... Will update when treatment is done.
ALBERT D.
My blue tang fox face and convict tang got ich. I treated for 20 days and blue tang and fox face are still alive and no ich. Convict tang didn't make it.
nick k.
complete wast of money, followed instruction fully, did not help at all, infact I think it made it worse, wont buy again, and warn others not to, all good reviews I think are done by polyp lab, so many people say it is a wast of time money and effort
Matt R.
Medic twice a day combined with a UV sterilizer (off for an hour during dosing medic) I have a 100% survival rate against ick.
Mohammad A.
The best thing to cure your fishes while you have corals
Rick N.
Had a juvenile emperor angel that got a very small amount of ich in its fins. Immediately started using this and on day 5 all spots are gone. I fully understand the life cycle of ich so time will tell if this works. I plan on doing the 20 day treatment to play it safe. This is in combination with 3 cleaner shrimp and a uv sterilizer so hard to tell if it's actually truly working as described. My snails shrimp and starfish are all thriving so it defiantly don't bother them.
Philip M.
Definitely helped out my tang and clowns that got ich
Philip M.
I was extremely skeptical at first, but after trying Medic my fish all started to eat more and are no longer covered in ich. Made a few of my corals and anemones upset, but didn't adversely affect them at all.
Alejandro M.
Seems to be working. Pellets damage coral they land on so dosing product into sump is recommended.
Jared F.
Works well in my system, I wish the bottle was bigger.
Robert F.
Medic is the only thing I have found to work.
Mark C.
Best product I have tried to date....you can see the fizzing action taking out the flagellates.
Thomas T.
I ended up getting ick in my 120 gallon tank after bringing home a hippo tang. My hippo started showing the white spots four days after putting him in the tank and shortly after that my yellow tang and foxface started showing the ick spots. I started dosing the Medic and after five days the white spots disappeared. So I dosed for 5 more days and I haven’t hade any signs of ick for over a month. I dosed three scoops twice a day according to instructions. Worked great!
Kenneth P.
After dosing for only 24 hours I saw a significant improvement in my fish. This product is legit!
Noah K.
Medic seems to be helping my marine velvet outbreak in my reef tank. Prior to dosing $650 worth of beautiful fish died but this seems to be helping my last 3 fish. Never get a powder blue tang even with quarantine it is not a fish for an aquarium and should be left in the wild.
Aracelis P.
Used this product yrs ago and brought most of my fish back from being almost dead from marine velvet. Medic cured my fish and they got fat, happy and healthy for over 2yrs but I got rid of 2 fish just recently due to the size they ended up in a show tank but unfortunately I introduced new fish in my display they were fine and then I had transferred some fish that were in a new tank that was still cycling... into my display because they were stressed next thing you know a copperband fish that was in my tank for only a few mins got stressed and broke out with ick so luckily I had some Polylab Medic available.
Don't know what I'd do without this product. Thank God I had some in reserve when I introduced new fish into my tank after 2yrs. I'm planning to quarantine to avoid using anything but if you need to this is the safest with a reeftank.
Rose H.
Ich is still in my tank
Henry O.
Its only been 4days since I started treatment. It looks like its working because there is no longer any visible signs of parasites. The fish are eating well and have stopped scratching. It has not hurt corals in any way. Looks good so far
Howard K.
I have used this product twice and it has definitely worked for me on my reef aquarium, didn’t have any adverse effects.
Corey P.
not sure if this truly works or not. the situation turned out to be velvet.
Yong H.
Not really effective against the ich problem after 10 days of strictly following the instructions according my needs. Not COMPLETELY reef safe! It bleached my anemone and zoanthids. Reef safe for invertebrates and corals with skeleton but not on softies and anemone.
Heather H.
Fast delivery. I haven’t lost anymore fish since I started the treatment.
Sunny K.
I tried other products to solve the ick issue on my 130gallon reef tank, none worked other than Medic. I dosed it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, I diluted Medic in saltwater until completely dissolved, turned my UV sterilizer and my protein slimmer off and dosed it, worked extremely well and saw ick disappear within 3 days, kept dosing it for 10 days while turning on the UV sterilizer only at night until the next dose.
Igor A.
Ich is a serious parasite that once infests your aquarium hell brake loose! So after 2 or 3 episodes of ich in a decade and loosing into the thousand+ dollars when it decimated my fished (sometimes by 70%), I learned my lesson.
When I noticed that my Majestic Angelfish had Ich, I decided to try Medic but didn't take any chance: I went for the higher doses immediately (3 scoops p/50gls). Having a 150 gls aquarium the bottle lasted only 10 days.
Within 3 days there were no signs of Ich and by the end of the 10 days all seemed fine (and I've already ordered 2 more bottles for the future).
I'm happy for this medication. My corals seems fine as well as my shrimps and snails.
I recommend it 100%. Money totally worthy... and save me the aggravation of a difficult chase of the sick fish to quarantine it
Benjamin C.
Short story long I have lost 15 fish and counting. It does not seem to be working unfortunately
Katie Q.
Well, I can't speak to its efficacy in treating the ich, but I can speak to it being totally reef safe: I have dosed twice now (last night and this morning) and just found my fire shrimp dead (it's noon). So, like 12 hours into a ten-day regimen and I have already lost my favorite shrimp. Use with caution!
Alex R.
This seemed to knock of some of the ICH on my trigger. But 16 days into dosing and it seems to be coming back.... Did not harm corals though.
andy j.
I am not sure it did anything at all, heavy infection of ICK on most fish, treatment for approx. 2 weeks, lost 40 % of the fish !!! Not sure the medication did anything at all ????
Stacey R.
Ordered this to treat our damsel tank. Some of the fish we ordered arrived so small and extremely stressed. Have been using this for 6 days now and have only lost 2 fish. Both of them so small they should never have been sold. They we're the worst out of the 20 or so we ordered. Everyone else is happy and healthy. I can say it is reef safe and seem to be helping them even if it is just so there immune system can recover.
Intarasak H.
I have used Medic for several years when my tank had Ich. Excellents product. Now I try to keep new fish in nursery tank with copper 1 month to kill parasite .
Mical C.
Had a powder brown tang starting to show signs of ich so I purchased medic and foolowed the 10 day process. Well IMO it made the condition worse. The tang showed signs before and we gave it Nori w/garlic and it vanished for months. (I'm aware of the Ich life cycle so yes it could've been coincidence) But I won't slam this product but it didn't work for me and we lost the tang
Damion H.
This product is a complete waste of time!!!!!! And is certainly not worth the money they are asking for it !! I don’t know why people have been successful using this as I have tried this product on 4 different occasions and it has never worked using the full dose. Companies like this , when asking for such a high price should guarantee results!!! But instead you are given a spin off of a product that may or may not work and that is bad business!! Especially in a hobby that is as a expensive as marine , I would never recommend this product to anyone and would always suggest a QT tank , the hassle of getting one set up is much less hassle than losing 80% of your livestock for putting trust in a product like poly lab medic , it doesn’t work and probably never will !
Michael G.
Dory is invincible now.
Darrell B.
paid extra for the shipping and still got it late. said I would get refund on shipping still no refund.
Cjuck C.
The fish are doing fine again. There color has come back........ So great full.......
Ronnie B.
Did not work. Had to finally tear down my tank to catch all my fish. By then I still lost my Naso Tang and Wrasse. If you have ick or other parasite just do the only way to fix it and separate your fish and medicate with copper. My display tank is fishless and all fish are under going treatment with no further issues. Every fish store and the local public aquarium told me it was a gimmick and it would never be strong enough to be "reef safe" but I had to try it on my own. Got burned and cost me $37.89...
Payton H.
The Polyplab Medic works wonders. I followed the instructions to a T. Never bothered and Corals or Inverts in my tank. All fish are doing great. its been 16 days since I have used the product and everything is looking great. Will use this product again and recommend to others.
dat t.
It works very well. The key is treating your fish as soon as you bring it home. I lost a few fish due to slow shipping. The rest are healthy now. No corals or invertebrates died during and after the treatment. I dosed for 10 consecutive days.
juan Andrés B.
I follow the instructions, and It did not work!, also got red cyano after..!
Tom A.
I will update as I move through this process. ...been 14 days...lost one Kole tang so far...the purple and powder blue tangs have shown “marginal” improvement to this point. Using triple dosage amounts twice a day...
...more to follow
Brittany H.
I lost all my fish due to ich so I bought this product to keep on hand for the future. It was recommended by a friend and also had so amazing reviews online. When I opened the package I thought it didn’t come with a scoop so I emailed customer service and they responded promptly and said they would send one out asap; however I found the scoop on my stairs later. The customer service was great though. I’m highly satisfied. :)
Timothy R.
Didn't work for me. My fish got worse. Expecting losses pretty soon.
Noel L.
This product is simple to use and I've seen on adverse affects on my reef. I haven't seen any new spots on my fish and my clown fish is showing no signs of stress.

Best of the best, specially if dissolved before adding.
Nick r.
The only product I would use in a reef system
Matt E.
The key to this product is catch the symptoms early. If you hesitate using this product even a few days. Something with perish and other people blame this product that it doesn’t work. That’s simply not true. Use the product without hesitation. If you think there is a problem there probably is. I have used this product three times in 18 months and it worked every time. No problem. Run the full ten days before and after the lights go out and just keep using it and things will be fine. Never lost an SPS coral because of it.
180 gallon SPS dominant
Crosshatch trigger
Zebra Tang
Joculator Angel
Gem Tang
This works. Use it and be patient.
Ed M.
Had an ich outbreak. This product helped tremendously in eradicating the day ich. So far, it hasn’t returned. I highly recommend this product!
Callum B.
I noticed 2 single white spots on my tang . And immediately ran to LFS and was reccomeded this product . After 20 days of intensive (full dosing) treatment I have seen no improvement at all . In fact the opposite . I used YouTube to find out more about the product as information is limited online . I had heard about people having great success and thought nothing of the hefty £35 I invested into protecting my livestock by buying ' the reef safe option . Firstly my yellow longhorn cowfish perished due to being overwhelmed by ick . Then 2 days later (today) my mimic tang has suffered the same fate . I will be adding carbon back into the tank to remove whatever it is I have placed in (polyp lab) and will be using hyposalinity or copper to treat the remaining fish (fuzzy dwarf lionfish, Volitans lionfish & cleaner wrasse)
Overall I feel like I have wasted my time and earnings on a product that is simply un-reliable .
Mike W.
I wish I had the same results as the other reviews, my dijardini tank got ich when my feeder failed and I turned to this product which I hear was the best. Unfortunently it took 17 days to clear my tank of ich and in doing so managed to completely wipe out my two rose anemone as well as all of my coral save 1 mushroom. Very disappointed in over several hundred dollars of coral loss. I would give 1 star except my dijardini survived and isnlooking healthy. Thanks, I guess...
Jeff W.
I'm terribly upset I started using the product and the itch spread like wildfire! Almost like the product was causing it! I read and followed all the directions. Ive lost, Jenny she went quick thank god! I have Sarah in the net in front of the filter outlet trying to keep her alive and I have sunny looks like he will be gone tomorrow! And other fish that had no sign of it now have it! I'm so sad! I am discontinuing use and will put my blue carbon back in and start dosing with fish slime. Please wish me luck! Very disappointed!
Ryan C.
So far medic as been great.Yellow tang had it the worse and I'm only on 4th day and most all of it is now gone. Finally a reef safe product that actually works can't wait to see the results after the 10 day cycle.
Carisa K.
When should I expect improvement? My tang is no better and now my angel has ICH.
marcus s.
By the second day of use the spots on my tangs was gone and the color of my blue dot grouper was back popping again and he was out and about like normal....... this stuff is awesome
Hernando R.
Im that kind of guy who strongly believes in no reef safe medication for reef, and for my surprise this product has worked wonders , did not experience any loss what so ever in corals and fishes are happier than ever. I dosed everyday between 10pm-12am 1 scoop for every 50 gallons, in my case 10 scoops for 500g. Then shut UV , then redosed another 10 scoops at 6am and turned on UV at 9am ....did this for 20 days and went thru 2 bottles ....it's been 28days and haven't seen no spots whatsoever ,, thank you polylab.
Aracelis Price
I just want to say before I discovered Polyplab Medic we had lost about 2k worth of fish in our tank so for those of u that think it's expensive I totally believe it's very reasonable considering the amount of money u could lose not to mention the aggravation n feeling scared not knowing if your investment is healthy it can be very scary. My husband & I were talking about the product and saying omg If we only knew about this product earlier how much money we could have saved but @ least we stopped spending on replacing fish because we found this wonderful product!!! Polyplab Medic is the best !!
Aracelis P.
I want everyone to know how great this product is. I already wrote my experiences on my 91g system Redsea now this reviw is for my 20 g nano. Ist I tried without a sterilizer on my 20g n it didn't work for me then I bought a $50 sterilizer for my 20g nano dosed the tank again for 20 days, when I was done I used carbon for 3 days waited about 2 weeks n introduced a new pair of clownfish, they r doing great , very healthy n happy . You have to follow the instructions !!! And I hate to say it but I strongly believe that u need a sterilizer n it WILL work. If this worked for me for Marine Velvet n believe me I know what marine velvet is it is not ick my fish in my big tank had all the symptoms also the only reason most of them made it was because I had a sterilizer n I finally tried Polyplab Medic!!! This stuff is excellent!! Like other in this hobby I have thousands of dollars invested I would Not recommend something that I truly don't believe in. I want EVERYONE TO KNOW IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS IF U DON'T QUARANTINE . On the negative side if u have pink palys corals in my experience they were the only coral that didn't tolerate the medication, but nothing is perfect sometimes there is little price to pay. I lost 4 of those everything else was perfect, inverts, starfish all doing great!!! In my big tank I've Never had healthier Salter fish they r absolutely beautiful n eat like pigs!
Jeff K.
Lost my yellow tang and noticed my puffer had some white spots on it. Got the medic and started treating the tank. I'm on day three and my puffer seems to be happy and doing great. Looks like I'll only suffer the one casualty. Thought the item was pricey but when I comes to saving the tank it was worth it. Thanks to polylab medic I'll be impulse buying thing for my tank in about two weeks when the treatment is over.
Aracelis P.
This product is excellent. I am very sceptical to advise anyone in this hobby something that I don't trust. I saw my fish transform from having full symptoms of marine velvet to being colorful n beautiful. Especially my purple tang which I couldn't catch in the pic but its full proof that if u use it as instructed for ick or marine velvet together with a STERILIZER turning it off when it indicates it WILL work!!!
Joseph I.
This stuff works! Do not listen to what anyone say about no reef safe medication works because this one does. I never thought they worked either until I finally said just let me try for myself. My wrasse and foxface had ich very bad. Foxface was about to die. After about 3 days of dosing he and wrasse started clearing up. Now after about 5 days he is completely clear of all spots and back acting normal
Andy N.
Amazing! So simple to use! Finally a reef safe marine ich treatment that works! I bought 4 bottles and treated at max dose of 3 scoops per 50 gallons, twice per day for 24 days. Raised the temperature to 82-84 degrees. Ich pretty much covered all the tangs. My tank has 25 tangs (including 1 gem, 1 blue powder, 1 brown powder, 3 achilles, 1 sail fin, 2 purple, 3 yellow, 5 blue hippo, 1 scopas, 3 sohal, 2 blonde naso, 1 naso, and 1 lieutenant tang), 19 clowns, 1 cleaner wrasse, and 1 cleaner goby. All 46 fish survived and all corals and inverts doing fine. I only lost a giant clam and two SPS but it's worth it to save all my fish. Great product!
Aracelis P.
Ok this is my third review. At first I was very scared to use the product even though I had heard positive things but after investing thousands of dollars in my tank I was a little terrified to be honest. I have a 91 gallon system and the first day I started with three scoops but I got scared so after that I started dosing only two scoops twice a day by day 8 I had lost a beautiful Australian Coral and one of my Dunkin had lost three heads and my fish starting to look worse after they were looking a little better at first and that's when I realized my fish had Marine velvet not ick. By this time I was already almost on day 9. I was about to throw in the towel and quit the hobby LOL I was very upset didn't know what to do but then I started thinking I might as well finish the 10-day dosage since I've gotten this far. By day 10 I realized that my corals were getting used to the medication for the most . I fed my corals phyto feast a few teaspoons a day. By day 10 I started to feel a lot more confident so I started dosing almost Four scoops twice a . By day 17 I increased the Scoops to almost 5 Scoops twice a day and the very last morning a dosed almost six scoops this is all in a 91 gallon system. I am extremely happy with the results you can see in the picture my purple tang has all his color back unfortunately he actually got back his attitude since the only other big fish in the tank is my Foxface...lol. My Foxface is doing pretty well seems like I better start getting other fish soon so my Foxface doesn't get bullied LOL. I am very skeptical in recommending something like this to others but like I said before I did take a risk and lost a beautiful Australian torch and my Dunkin lost a couple heads and I had another torch that lost a few heads and my pink star polys closed up, I'm hoping they will open up after I did a water change and put carbon will see but for all the rest of the Corals in the tank everything looks good I'm pretty happy with the product!!! I have to admit the first time around it was a little scary but now that I know what the product can do I am not skeptical at all to ever have to use it again if I need it because I know what to expect. I highly would recommend it to everyone who has a reef tank!!!!
Aracelis P.
Ok today is day 14 of my ongoing treatment for marine velvet the fish are looking great of the four fish that I have left the purple Tang is looking really good and my fox face which was in rough shape is also looking very well. I have a tank full of coral 99% of my corals are doing well but I lost an Australian torch about day 7 of treating the tank and my other torch has lost two heads and my Duncan Coral is almost gone it lost three heads almost looked like it's on its way out I also lost one SPS but it's a matter of whether you get this Marine velvet stuff out of your tank or you lose a few corals of course you're going to lose money in this Hobby but you sometimes you have to outweigh what is it worth to you. When I found out that I had Marine velvet I was about to throw in the towel and quit the hobby I wasn't happy because I was done with my aquarium after thousands of dollars invested. All because my husband wanted that one more fish in our tank and it was a blue throat trigger that we did not realize he was in a tank with an eel so obviously the LPS store wasn't treating him in Copper which was dumb on our part with the excitement of the beauty of the fish we forgot all about thinking about that detail. But then I started thinking when I was around day9 about to quit because I was freaking out that's when I found out that my tank had Marine velvet when I studied what the symptoms were and they were doing all of them which were swimming in front of the fan all the time they got this sugary like appearance like a bad case of ick and they didn't want to be in front of the light I thought OMG this is very bad but then I thought if I've gone this far I might as well read other people's review and there was one guy that said that he continued the 20-day treatment and it cured his Marine velvet in his tank so I thought okay I'm going to lose a few corals and some money but I am going to try to see if this stuff works so far it seems like it does I know I will have to try to put money slowly back into the tank to get a few corals that I lost that we're only three about 3, but we're very expensive ,so far in the game not even knowing that I had Marine velvet but once I did I continued and I still have about 6 more days to go to complete the 20-day dosing which is the max. I will do another review at the end of the dosing but so far I believe this stuff does work
Charles H.
A few of my fish had what appeared to be ich. I tried this stuff after reading reviews and after about two weeks the issues were gone and have not come back since!!!! I cannot recommend this enough
Aracelis P.
Ok so on my 1st review I was on about day 7 but the next day I noticed that my fish were worst because they had Marine velvet not ick. At the beginning stages it can confuse u but then if u do research u will find that it can wipe out ur tank.(I did cross contaminate my Nano tank n lost all but 1 fish in the nano before I received polyplab medics in the mail) I knew it was Marine velvet because my fish got this dusty like appearance, they got pale, they hid from the light, lost appetite and we're swimming constantly in front of the fan. I had lost 5 fish before medicating in the big tank and 2 while starting because I started meds a little too late. I also had lost n expensive beautiful Australian torch, and 3 heads on my dunkin coral so I was freaking out a little because I have more money in corals than fish. I didn't know what to do I honestly was about to terminate the dosage but I thought if I came this far I might as well continue. I'm glad I did because today is day 10 n the rest of my corals r ok. I'm feeding the corals daily a few teaspoons of Phyto Feast seem to be helping the corals. My purple tang looks 85% better he's getting his color n attitude back n I even saw him nipping on algae a bit again. My foxface is not doing as good as him still hiding a bit from the light but he's looking about 75% better. Obviously because it must be Marine velvet I need to continue the dose for the entire 20 days. At least that's my goal n then I'll write another review. Until then! Medicine seems to be working so far!
Aracelis P.
By the time I got the medication it was a little bit too late in the game. What my experience has been with the other medications is... either the weak fish will hurry up n die if their inmune system is too weak or it will the make the strong fish much stronger & this is what happened in my case. I still had faith in the polyplab medics if it would save some of my fish that were in bad shape and it did, so far today is day 7 and my purple tang ,my foxface and a few others are starting to eat n acting back to normal n looking 80% better. It would be nice if we had someone to talk to over the phone because there's still some questions I would like to have answered. But at least I'm happy that there is something that seems to be working in a reef tank.
Andrew J.
I seems to work. Should apple to buy it in canada, its a canadian company! Had to order from US, its cheaper?
Mike C.
Everything I have bought from Polyplab has performed awesome!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!
Rich B.
I posted a photo of my Harlequin shrimp eating. Only because with my I-phone I couldn't get a decent photo of my Powder Brown Tang who had some ick. I have been using this product daily for almost a week now... and I will continue to do so for the full recommended dose period. It hasn't killed a single fish, coral frag or invert... my Powder Brown Tang looks better everyday.
andy j.
It's a candian product, why do I have to buy it from US ???? Its much more expensive & shipping more ,ordering from CANADA ! Please make it affordable for Canadians !
thanks
ifrain l.
Worked great, took the ich aways
Joseph S.
Blue tang caught a case of ich. I use Reef Roids amazing stuff, medic just had to be amazing as well? After only the 5th dose the ich on the body was gone and no new Ich appeared! I am the type of person that does not believe the Ich treatment hype but This Medic stuff really works! Hopefully I don't have to purchase anymore Ich Medicine but if I do, it will be Polyp lab Medic...!
Ron H.
I just went thru a 6 week shutdown due to a velvet wipeout. Frustrating!!! I've been dealing with marine fish for 40 years. I just started my 100 gallon FO tank back up. I started with a Pink Tail Trigger, a Formosa Wrasse and a dragon juvenile wrasse. Wasn't long until the trigger developed splotches all over the body. I have tried every medication known to this hobby and nothing has ever worked effectively. So, I read about Polyp Lab's Medic. What could I lose? I followed instructions and around the 10th day of treatment I noticed a large improvement in the trigger. The splotches were going away. He really never quit eating but scratched a lot. The two wrasse seemed fine. I have since added a Lieutenant Tang, an Orange Shoulder Tang, a Dogface Puffer, and an Annularis Angel. All are doing great. I did use garlic and vitamins in their food. Medic is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I'm going to continue treatment up to the max of 20 days. I would recommend this for anyone to at least try. So far so good for me!!!
Hal H.
Was able to save someone my fish, not all of them. :(
John H.
You have a choice!!. Be battered into social submission and use the old school methods of copper treatments. This will result in you essentially emptying your aquarium and leaving it for about 14 weeks. Meanwhile you will be running a second tank for quarantine where you will treat surviving tank inhabitants with a copper remedy Or.........................................
You can use Polyp Lab Medic Reef Safe. This is an effective treatment and is the far easier option than the copper treatments. This can seriously make the difference between life and death to your tank inhabitants. Every Marine keeper should have a bottle of this at hand in readiness for that day we all dread..... The outbreak of parasites such as WS, Ich.
Rest assured purchasing Polyp Lab Medic Reef Safe could be the best investment you ever make
andy j.
Work better than many other products n price is fair!
Abel V.
Notice it calmed down the ich infestation but still a Lil on my tangs but it not as notisable as it used to be so in other words it hasn't killed the parasite but it has kept it on check

Does not remove external parasites from the tank. It might help with lowering the number of parasites seeking a host fish, but certainly doesn't kill them all. Which means as soon as you stop dosing the peroxide the parasites are free to multiply again. I used this even with a very high powered UV sterilizer at just the inimum flow rate and a small tank to get as many parasites to the UV as possible. This doesn't work either in conjunction with the peroxides (Medic) or by itself.

Not sure yet how well this product worked. Our fish are still alive. We are still hopeful. The product was shipped late after we paid extra to get it here quickly. It took twice as long as it was supposed to for us to get it which was extremely frustrating. If you've dealt with ich then you understand. I do feel shipping cost should be refunded.

It seem to be working the Ich seems to be disappearing. And it seems to not be
bothering my corals. After 2 weeks all 3 fish are doing very good. I have tried other items and all failed. The fish all died.

Have been treating for 10 days like it suggests and still have a fish with ich, also killed two of my starfish. Now i can't say for sure that this killed them but they have been fine and for some reason on the 9th day they were both dead laying on bottom of the tank.

My two ich magnets are free from iChat and look great!

Used polylab because a couple of my tangs have shown signs of ichoice due to the stress of adding new species of tangs. It quickly went away. Corals never missed a beat. May be unrelated, but must be mentioned, the little bit of bryopsis I had from some frags I got at a swap disappeared by the 7th Day.

It took several doses but the ick cleared on our powder blue tang and after a couple of moths no recurrence. I am keeping some on hand as a just in case. I was skeptical buyt now recommend polyplab medic to others.

I had lost a yellow tang before application. The sailfin tang in the picture was covered with ick in the next few days. I began application as soon as it arrived and within 10 days the sailfin is looking and acting great again. I am continuing application for the full 20 days as recommended. All the coral is fine. Great product!!
